First, all analog cameras.

The analog image is stored in a film or analog sensor collects information and sends it to an analog-digital data can be stored on a memory card.

Well, the basis or your question: What is the difference between film and digital images is.

They are very different ... Both have their place in the world of photography.

The "standard" for the film and digital photography is the ability to photos, which is almost always well composed and perfectly exposed produce the goal of all professional photographers, and many fans.

Experts are invited to the pictures in the middle, film and digital production.

Finally, the megapixel count is only half the equation of the resolution .. the other is the sensor size:

First, I am not sure whether the quality of the digital image can be measured by the number of pixels only. Say that I a Nikon digital SLR 1D or 1DH gives me about 2.6 MP, and compared to a P & S as a Nikon Coolpix P5100, which gives me about 12.1 MP. Are we sure that the 12.1 MP P & S is better than the 2.6MP just outside the front 1D?
For the film, I'm not sure if it can be an analogy, as you describe. Why? Since you will be used in the quality of the film look extent. As another question, but keep things simple, you can not mega-pixels as a measure of image quality.
