Good questions. So far, although a large amount of scientific research has been done, especially on acymaie in the diets of young children, neither the World Health Organization or the FDA has found that acrylamide presents a risk to health.

One was to think about this is to consider making toast at home. The darker the toast, the more acylamide.

There is emerging science that suggests that since man has been cooking with fire for millions of years and creating acylamide, the body has developed a self-defense mechanism.

The world's top experts meet in Rome in February for an up-date but nothing, thus far, has given cause for concern. Meanwhile, the food industry around the worls, responding to consumer questions, are making attenpts to remove acrylamide without changing the basic tate and cruch of its products.

Hope this helps.
